Take measures to control positivity rate in Dakshina Kannada: S Angara
Mangaluru, Aug 06, 2021: Minister S Angara directed the officials to take all necessary steps to control the positivity rate in the district.
He held a review meeting on Covid and flood-related issues at DC’s office today.
“Testing should be increased in all Taluks to ensure positivity rate is decreased. If there is any shortage of doctors, lab technicians, or ANMs, their appointment should be done immediately. The Gram Panchayats and Urban Local bodies should ensure enough testing is done within their limits. The Covid positive patients should be compulsorily shifted to Covid Care Centers,” he said.
Deputy Commissioner Rajendra K V said that the circular on providing ₹ 1 lakh compensation to those who died due to Covid from the BPL family has reached the district. The Tahshildars have been asked to submit the list.
