Covid vaccination: Mulki Sunder Ram Shetty College conducts survey
Shirva, July 26, 2021: The NSS and Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Mulki Sunder Ram Shetty College conducted a door-to-door survey about Covid vaccination at Padavu ST Colony.
The survey found 53 people above 45 years had only one dose of the vaccine and are yet to take the second one. More than 50 people had not got any vaccination, and as many as 60 people in the 18-44 age group were not vaccinated.
The teams also created awareness about Covid among the people. Masks and sanitizers were distributed in the colony.
College Principal Dr. Nayana M inaugurated the program by distributing masks and sanitizers. Padavu ward former Panchayat former member Ramesh, sitting member Ratan Shetty, NSS Officer Prof T Murugeshi, Vice Principal Prof Manjunath KG, Prof Sona, Prof Mithun Chakravarthi, College staff Shekhar and students participated in the program.
“MSRS College has adopted Padavu ward. We will stress on education and health of the people here,” Principal Dr. Nayana said.
Vice Principal Prof Manjunath said a special vaccination drive will be conducted at the Shirva Community Health Center for the people of the ward.
