Special prayer for Oscar’s health

Mangaluru, July 21, 2021: A special prayer was held at the Bishop’s house Chapel, praying for the health of MP Oscar Fernandes today.

Oscar Fernandes was hospitalized after he fell in his house yesterday morning.

Fr Clifford, Fr Olen D’Souza, Fr Maxim, J V D’Souza conducted the special prayer.

“Oscar Fernandes has served the society as an MP and Minister. He has appeased God by working for all the sections of society. He should recover soon,” the religious leader prayed.

AICC secretary Ivan D’Souza led the mass prayer. Former MP Vinay Kumar Sorake, MLC Harish Kumar, AICC Secretary P V Mohan, Corporator Naveen D’Souza, Lancelot Pinto, KPCC secretary M A Gafur, Udupi DCC president Ashok Kodavoor, Christian Organisation leaders Gilbert D’Souza, Ashit Periera, Congress secretary Piyus Montero, Jacintha Vijaya Alfred, and others were present.

Ivan has asked the people to offer prayers at all the places of worship for the health of Oscar tomorrow.

“Prayer will help in improving his health,” Ivan said.
