Campco releases Jackfruit eclairs
Board of Management to recommend Varanashi Subraya Bhat’s name for Padma Shri
Mangaluru, July 12, 2021: Two new Chocolate products- Jackfruit Eclairs and Hazelnut Choco spread were released on the occasion of the 49th foundation day of The Campco Ltd.
The main ingredients of CAMPCO Jackfruit Eclairs are vacuum-fried natural jackfruit pieces and powder without using any artificial flavors. CAMPCO Hazelnut Choco spread is an ideal combination used as grating on Bread, Toast, Chapathi, and even on Dosa. It can also be used for Icecream, cakes, and desserts.
The Campco was started on July 11, 1973. The 49th Foundation Day was celebrated on July 12 at the head office in Mangalore.
On this occasion Chief Guest of the Program V. Srikrishna Bhat, Former Vice President of The Campco virtually inaugurated the 14th Sales Depot of the Campco at Junagadh, Gujarat.
He recollected the efforts of the Founder President Varanashi Subraya Bhat in overcoming the problems when there was a glut in the Arecanut Market in the 1970s. He suggested achieving great heights by producing elixir products from Cocoa.
On the occasion, Komale Ganapathi Bhat was felicitated for his innovation of tree bike. Kumta Branch was awarded the best performing Branch for the year 2020-21. Branch Manager, Amaresh was felicitated on the occasion.
In his Presidential address, Campco President Amasabail Kishore Kumar Kodgi said the Board of Management would recommend the Union Government to award Padma Shri posthumously to Varanashi Subraya Bhat.
“The threat of a ban on Arecanut looming large, all efforts are being made to prove that Arecanut has more medicinal value than being Carcinogenic. The Prime Minister has been requested for granting aid on Research,” he said.
H.M.Krishna Kumar, Managing Director delivered the Key Note Address. Shankaranarayana Bhat Khandige, Vice President and Directors of CAMPCO and Chartered Accountants spoke on the occasion. Reshma Mallya, General Manager delivered the vote of thanks.
