Udupi, July 06, 2021: To ease the rush of passengers during Ganesha festival, Konkan Railway in co ordination with Central Railway will run Ganapati special trains.

1) Train no. 01227 / 01228 Mumbai CSMT – Sawantwadi Road – Mumbai CSMT Special (Fully Reserved) :

Train no. 01227 Mumbai CSMT – Sawantwadi Road Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Mumbai CSMT at 12.20 am daily from September 5 to 22. Train will reach Sawantwadi Road at 2 pm on the same day.

Train no. 01228 Sawantwadi Road – Mumbai CSMT Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Sawantwadi Road at 2.40 pm daily from Sep 5 to 22. It will reach Mumbai CSMT at 4.35 am on the next day.

Train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg and Kudal stations.

Composition : Total 22 Coaches = Composite (2 Tier + 3 Tier AC) – 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper – 11 Coaches, Second Seating – 04 Coaches, SLR – 02.

2) Train no. 01229 / 01230 Mumbai CSMT – Ratnagiri – Mumbai CSMT Special (Fully Reserved):

Train no. 01229 Mumbai CSMT – Ratnagiri Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Mumbai CSMT at 1.10 pm every Monday & Friday from 06th to 20th September 2021. The Train will reach Ratnagiri at 10.25 pm on the same day.

Train no. 01230 Ratnagiri – Mumbai CSMT Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Ratnagiri at 11.30 pm on every Sunday & Thursday from September 7 and will will reach Mumbai CSMT at 8.20 pm on the next day.

Train no 01230 will halt at Sangameshwar Road, Aravali Road, Sawarda, Chiplun, Khed, Veer, Mangaon, Roha, Panvel and Dadar stations.

Train no. 01229 will halt at all above stations and have an additional halt at Thane station.

Composition : Total 22 Coaches = Composite (2 Tier + 3 Tier AC) – 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper – 11 Coaches, Second Seating – 04 Coaches, SLR – 02.

3) Train No. 01231 / 01232 Panvel – Sawantwadi Road – Panvel Special (Fully Reserved):

Train No. 01231 Panvel – Sawantwadi Road Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Panvel at 8 am every Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday from Sep 7 to 22 September. Train will reach Sawantwadi Road at 8 pm on the same day.

Train No. 01232 Sawantwadi Road – Panvel Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Sawantwadi Road at 8.45 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday from Sep 7 to 22. Train will reach Panvel at 7.10 am on the next day.

Train will halt at Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg and Kudal station.

4) Train No. 01233 / 01234 Panvel – Ratnagiri – Panvel Special (Fully Reserved):

Train No. 01233 Panvel – Ratnagiri Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Panvel at 8 am every Thursday & Sunday from Sep 9 to 23. It will reach Ratnagiri at 3.40 pm on the same day.

Train No. 01234 Ratnagiri – Panvel Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Ratnagiri at 11.30 pm every Monday & Friday from Sep 6 to 20. Train will reach Panvel at 6 am on the next day.

Train will halt at Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road station.

Composition : Total 22 Coaches = Composite (2 Tier + 3 Tier AC) – 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper – 11 Coaches, Second Seating – 04 Coaches, SLR – 02.

Bookings for Train no. 01228 Sawantwadi Road – Mumbai CSMT Special, Train no. 01230 Ratnagiri – Mumbai CSMT Special, Train No. 01232 Sawantwadi Road – Panvel Special & Train No. 01234 Ratnagiri – Panvel Special will open from July 8 at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Counters and IRCTC Website.

All norms of State & Central Government regarding COVID-19 including social distancing, sanitization etc should be followed in trains and at the Railway stations.
