Siyala Abhisheka at Paniyadi Temple

Udupi, July 04, 2021: Siyala Abhisheka (Tender Coconut water) was offered to Paniyadi Sri Ananthapadmanabha on Sunday.

The preparations had started on Saturday. Villagers had offered over 700 tender coconuts.

The Abhishekam began around 8.30 am and concluded by 10.30 am. ‘Parayana,’ and Mahapooje were held in the afternoon after the Abhishekam at the temple.

While villagers participated actively in the event, Covid guidelines were strictly followed.

The temple which has a history of over 1,000 years is under the management of Sri Puthige Matha. It was renovated recently under the leadership of Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Sripadaru.
