Virtual Workshop on Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking at St. Mary’s College
Shirva, June 1, 2021: Department of Computer Science of St. Mary’s College, Shirva in collaboration with Data Space Security Pvt Ltd organized a virtual workshop on ‘Cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and security as a career,’ for BCA students on May 28.
Resource person, Samiran Santra CEO and founder of Data Space Security stressed cybersecurity and cyber safety which have become the need of the hour. He said ethical hacking is the most demanded and lucrative career option at present.
“This is a part of our cyber awareness programme. Every student has a wide range of job opportunities in this area,” he said and also stressed the need for experts in the cyber world.
The second session was deliberated by Moutuli Mitra, Chief Business Development Officer, Data Space Security Pvt. Ltd.
The session involved topics on understanding various career prospects. She gave a picture of the career prospect in the field of cybersecurity.
BCA 3rd year students, faculty members participated. Moutuli Mitra welcomed and K Praveen Kumar, Head of Computer Science Department proposed the vote of thanks.
