MCC bans all forms of public road works during monsoon

Mangaluru, May 26, 2021: Mangaluru City Corporation has banned all forms of public road works during Monsoon.

The MCC has stated that digging of any road in areas under the supervision of Mangaluru City Corporation for purposes such as pipeline, drainage works, the electrical setup has been completely banned during the monsoon.
The ban will be for four months- from June 1 to Sep 30.

In case of emergency work, due permission must be obtained from the Corporation.

The MCC has warned to take strict action against the violators.

“Criminal proceedings will be initiated against the violators,” the statement added.
