Govt clarifies on Covid vaccination
Bengaluru, May 22, 2021: The state government has clarified on Covid vaccination.
Vaccination for above 45 years:
A. Covishield 1st dose:
Online in urban areas and onsite in rural areas.
B. Covishield 2nd dose:
Walk-in to nearest Covid vaccination center.
C. Covaxin 1st dose:
Currently not available.
D. Covaxin 2nd dose:
- SMS will be sent to beneficiaries due for second dose
- Beneficiaries should visit the designated Covid vaccination centre mentioned in the SMS.
Vaccination for 18-44 years age group:
- Currently not available.
- However, for identified state Covid frontline workrs, vulnerable groups and priority groups, the concerned will be informed of date and time of vaccination by the designated nodal officers.
