Oxygen Plant work at Wenlock Hospital in progress: Kamath
Mangaluru, May 13, 2021: Mangaluru City South MLA Vedavyas Kamath has said that work of setting up an Oxygen plant and additional Oxygen collection tank at District Wenlock Hospital are in progress.
“Based on the request by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, the MRPL had released ₹1.24 crore under its CSR fund to set up a new Oxygen Plant at the Wenlock Hospital. The work will start shortly,” the MLA said.
“The hospital already has a 6 thousand liter Oxygen Collection Tank. The work of constructing an additional unit of the same capacity is in progress,” he added.
“Government is taking all measures to ensure that there is no shortage of medical facility at the hospital,” he added.
