Aniruddha Saralatthaya enters Sanyasashrama
Udupi, May 13, 2021: Aniruddha Saralatthaya, chosen to become the Peetadhipathi of Shirooru Matha was ordained into ‘Sanyasashrama,’ by Sri Vishwavallabha Tirtha Sripadaru of Sode Matha today.
The ceremony is being held at Sri Shirooru Moola Matha at Shirooru in Udupi district.
The rituals related to the ‘Sanyasashrama,’ was held in the morning and was conducted by scholar Gundibailu Subrahmanya Avadhani. Later Sri Vishwavallabha Teertha Sripadaru of Sode Matha, who at present holds the additional charge of Sode Matha ushered ‘Sanyasashrama,’ to Aniruddha Saralatthaya.
He will be anointed as the new Peetadhipathi of Shirooru Matha on May 14 between 12.35 pm and 12.50 pm.
