PU Colleges warned against conducting classes

Mangaluru, April 22, 2021: Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Director of Pre University Education (DDPUE) has issued a strict warning to the colleges against conducting classes.

Sources said that some parents had called the officer about colleges conducting classes despite strict instructions from the government.

The officer warned that if any college conducts classes, the Principal and the management will be held responsible and district administration will strictly deal these cases under disaster management rules.

Meanwhile, he has also asked all the staff members to be in college during working hours.

If any lecturer is posted for COVID duty he will be exempted. Lecturers should monitor the online classes from colleges, the officer added.
