Durga Japayajna at Kateel on April 18
Kateel, April 17, 2021: It is a unique program initiated by Kateel temple where devotees can participate in the special ‘Yajna.’
The special ‘Durga Japayajna,’ will conclude on the 6th day of the annual festival on Sunday.
The temple had organized ‘Kotijapayajna,’ during Brahmakalashotsava in February last year. Thousands of devotees participated by chanting the ‘Sarvamangala Mangalye….” mantra.
While the target was to chant and submit the mantra 1 crore times, the response was much high. Thousands of devotees participated right from school children to senior citizens. As a result the Mantra was chanted over 16 crore times!
Many of them continued to chant it even after the ‘Japayajna,’ concluded last year.
Considering the response and enthusiasm of the people, the temple is holding ‘Durga Japayajna,’ this year during the annual festival.
The ‘Yajna,’ will conclude on Sunday where devotees can submit the total number of times they had chanted the ‘Mantra.’
On Sunday, the sixth day of ‘Jatre,’ Parva will be offered at Brahma Sannidhi. At night there will be Utsavabali and ‘Padu Savari.’
