Bantwal: Man arrested for sexually harassing a minor boy
Mangaluru, March 29, 2021: Vitla Police have arrested a person for sexually harassing a minor boy.
The incident took place on March 27. The victim- a minor boy- had been to a private function with his parents near Bantwal at around 10.30 am.
One Hameed Maula of Kabaka lured the boy and took him to a secluded place and sexually harassed him. The boy managed to escape and returned to his parents.
Based on the complaint by the father of the boy Vitla police have registered a case under Section 7 and 8 of The POCSO (The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) and arrested the accused.
