Jewelry worth 7.80 lakh stolen from a house in Karkala
Karkala, March 10, 2021: Thieves stole gold and diamonds worth ₹ 7.80 lakh from a house in Hirgana village.
Police said that the incident took place at Kukkudakatte of Hirgana village between 3 pm on March 7 and 9.30 pm on March 9.
Thieves who broke open the door of the house belonging to Vivek entered the house and broke the lock of the Cupboard. They stole gold and diamond ornaments kept inside. According to the complaint, the total worth of the ornaments is ₹7.80 lakh.
A case is filed under IPC Section 454, (Lurking house-trespass or house-breaking to commit offense), 457 (Lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night to commit offense), and 380 (theft) at Karkala Town Police Station.
