Three killed while cutting down tree near Dharmasthala
Mangaluru, March 09, 2021: Three people were killed when a tree fell on them while they were cutting it down today afternoon.
The incident took place at Kayila in Patrame village near Dharmasthala.
Police said that five people were cutting a tree in the property belongin to Lokayya Gowda today morning.
The tree fell killing three people- Prashanth Kumbara (23), Swastik Poojary (25), and Ganesh (38). Two others escaped unhurt.
Belthangady Circle Inspector Sandesh and Dharmasthala SI visited the spot. A case is registered at Dharmasthala Police station.
