Mangaluru celebrates ‘Kodial Ther’
Mangaluru, Feb 19, 2021: The 200th Mangaluru Rathotsava (Kodial Ther) of Sri Venkataramana Temple was held in the presence of Sri Samyamindra Tirtha Swamiji of Kashi Matha on Ratha Saptami- today.
In the morning ‘Maha Prarthana and Panchamrita Abhisheka were held. The Swamiji offered Shatha Kalashbhisheka, Gangabhisheka, and Maha Mangalarathi to Sri Veera Venkatesha.
After the ‘Poornahuthi,’ of Maha Yajna, Sri Veera Venkatesha and Sri Srinivasa deities were taken in the Golden Palanquin to the Brahma Ratha.
Hundreds of devotees witnessed the ‘Kodial Ter,’ and sought the blessings of the deities.
