Karnataka Chief Secretary visits Karwar Naval Base

Karwar, Feb 15, 2021: Chief Secretary of Karnataka P Ravi Kumar visited Karwar Naval Base today. He was received by Director General-Seabird Vice Admiral PK Bhel.

The Chief secretary was briefed on progress of activities with respect to the development of Project Seabird.

The visit also included a complete field tour of the Naval base as well as Naval Harbour towards assessment of marine infrastructure being developed as part of Project Seabird Phase II A.

The chief secretary also reviewed works of seabird associated with state government as part of State level coordination committe. Vented barrage, Civil and Naval Air station, Power infrastructure issues were reviewed with all state government officials at DC office.
