Illegally stored Anna Bhagya seized

Udupi, Jan 28, 2021: Food department officials have seized 24 quintal ‘Anna Bhagya,’ rice illigaly stored in a house at Gangolli.

Based on tipoff Food Inspector Suresh H R along with police officials raided the house of Abdul Azeez of Babasha Mohalla in Gangolli on Wednesday and seized 24 quintal Anna Bhagya rice illegally stored in the house.

Officials have seized rice and booked case under Section 3, 6 and 7 of Essential Commodities Act-1995.
