COVID Vaccination: Haliyal records 97.50 percent
79.93 percent in Uttara Kannada district
Karwar, Jan 16, 2021: Haliyal Taluk Hospital set a record in Uttara Kannada district by achieving 97.50 percent in the COVID Vaccination drive today.
Uttara Kannada district recorded 79.93 percent with 645 out of 807 targets getting vaccinated. The remaining 31 were unwilling to get vaccinated after they came to the center.
Of the 40 targets, 39 were vaccinated. One person did not attend in Haliyal.
Sirsi Taluk Hospital achieved 92.93 percent. The lowest turnout was in Honnavar which recorded 68.13 percent.
Though Mundgod recorded 77.42 percent, as many as 14 of them were unwilling to take the vaccination.
