Mangaluru/Karwar, Dec 29, 2020: The Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada district administrations have taken steps to ban new year celebrations at the beaches.

Every year hundreds of people celebrate the new year at the beaches in coastal Karnataka. But this year in the backdrop of COVID, the district administrations have strictly banned celebrations on the beaches.
