Oncology Conference held at Srinivas University
Mangaluru, Dec 28, 2020: College of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University, conducted a two-day e-conference “Embedding a rehabilitative approach in oncology care” at Pandeswar campus on December 26 and 27.
Dr. U T Iftikar Ali, President of IAP and syndicate member of RGUHS, inaugurated the function. Dr. Srinivas Rao, Pro chancellor, Srinivas University presided.
Dr. Ajay Kumar, Registrar(Development), Dr. S Rajasekar, Dean, College of Physiotherapy, Dr. N Mageswaran, Assistant Professor College of Physiotherapy were present.
Over 110 delegates participated in the conference virtually from different parts of the country.
Dr. Venktesh Vaidhyalingam – Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Udayakumar Maiya – Onco surgeon, and Dr. Stephen R Samuel – Onco physiotherapist shared their knowledge and experience with the students on the first day.
Four sessions were held on the second day and were addressed by Dr. M S Satish, Chief Physiotherapist, Dr. N Mageswaran, assistant professor, Dr. Srinivasan Vijay, Onco physiotherapist, and Dr. Vincent Paramanandam.
