First National Virtual CME by Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
Manipal, Dec 22, 2020: Pediatric Hematology and Oncology division of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal conducted the first national virtual CME of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology chapter, Indian Academy of Pediatrics on December 19 and 20.
Dr. H S Ballal, Pro-Chancellor of MAHE was the chief guest of the program. The meeting featured scientific talks by speakers from various reputed institutes like St Jude- Memphis, Emory University-Atlanta, University Hospital-Cleavland, Childrens Hospital-Washington DC, Tata Memorial Hospital-Mumbai, AIIMS-New Delhi, PGI-Chandigarh, etc.
The CME had registered 275 members and had a maximum login of 227. The dean of KMC, Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao gave the welcome address. Dr. Archana M V and Dr. Vasudeva Bhat were the Moderators on the first day. On the second day, it was Dr. Ramitha Bhat and Dr. Kalasekhar.
