Karwar Rail Users Committee warns Rail Roko

Karwar, Dec 17, 2020: The Karwar Rail Users Welfare Committee has warned to stage Rail Roko if the timing of Karwar-Padil-Bengaluru train is changed.

“The present time table of the Train is very convenient for the people of Karwar, Ankola, Kumta, Honnavar, and Bhatkal. We strongly oppose changing the timetable without any proper reasons as it would only harm the people,” Committee president Jagadish Birkodikar and working president Madhav Nayak said.

“If the Railway Department changes the timing of the train despite our request, we will stage Rail Roko. We also completely support the protest call given by Committee at Kundapur,” they said.
