Champa Shasti: Restriction on entry to Kukke Subrahmanya

Mangaluru, Dec 14, 2020: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner has banned the entry of devotees to Kukke Subrahmanya Temple from December 17 to 20.

Champa Shashti will be held at Kukke Subrahmanya temple on December 20.

“As a precautionary measure in the backdrop of COVID, except the devotees who have already booked Ratotsava Sevas, the entry to Kukke Subrahmanya Temple and Ratha Beedi has been banned to all interstate, inter-district devotees and tourists,” a press statement by Deputy Commissioner Dr. K V Rajendra stated.

Violators shall be booked under Section 5 (3), 6 (1), (2) of Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act 2020.
