Lawyers requested not to appear on behalf of accused in graffiti case

Mangaluru, Dec 07, 2020: The Mangaluru Bar Association has decided to request all the lawyers not to appear on behalf of the accused in the inflammatory graffiti case.

Anti-national and inflammatory graffiti was found near the court premises and Bejai two weeks ago. The police had arrested two persons in connection to this.

The Executive Committee headed by Bar Association President N Narasimha Hegde that met today resolved to request the lawyers not to appear on behalf of the accused in anti-national or terror cases.

They will request the lawyers not to appear on behalf of any accused in the graffiti case.
