Udupi, Dec 03, 2030: Karnataka is gearing up to bring the most talked after ‘Love Jihad Law.’

Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai confirmed this during his visit to Udupi on Thursday.

Bommai, also the district in-charge minister of Udupi, was in the city to participate in various programs.

He said that his government intends to bring strong legislation against Love Jihad after studying similar legislation of other states like Uttara Pradesh, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh.

Guidelines for new year celebration:
The Home Minister said that the government would shortly come up with the guidelines to be followed during the New Year celebration.

Night Curfew:
Speaking about Night Curfew, Bommai said that though the Health Department had prepared a draft advisory based on the Technical Advisory Committee’s recommendation, the state government is not in favor of it.
