U T Khader questions anti-social graffiti during BJP tenure
Mangaluru, Nov 29, 2020: Taking serious note of the recent graffiti in the city with anti-social messages, former Minister U T Khader has asked the government to arrest them at the earliest.
“No such anti-social acts existed when Congress was in power. How has it come up after BJP came to power,” Khader questioned at a press conference in Mangaluru on Sunday.
“The government should take this tyranny seriously and act strictly. Officials should arrest the responsible persons within a week failing to which we will stage a massive protest,” he warned.
Khader also hinted that the Congress would take up this issue in the forthcoming Panchayat elections.
“There were two such graffiti in the City. What are police and intelligence doing,” he questioned.
A graffiti with anti national writings was found on the compound wall of an apartment at Bejai four days ago. Another one with different writings was found near the court premises today morning.
