Yediyurappa professes BJP’s victory in R R Nagara by a huge margin
Mangaluru, Nov 05: Professing BJP’s victory in the by-elections at R R Nagar and Sira, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa declared to win these seats by a huge margin.
“I am confident of winning both these seats. We will win the RR Nagar constituency by a margin of about 40,000 and Sira by 25,000 margin,” Yediyurappa declared after inaugurating the state executive committee meeting of BJP at Mangaluru on Thursday morning.
“The Congress campaign was led by Siddaramaiah. They will see the result on Nov 10,” he said.
Yediyurappa also recollected that the party had gained its strength in those constituencies where the 18 MLAs had joined the party.
“BJP was not strong in places like Chikkaballapur and Mandya. But after the 18 MLAs had joined the party of whom 15 have won, our party’s strength has improved. In the future elections, we will be winning those constituencies. In the next assembly election we will be in a position to win 140-150 seats in the state,” he added.
Financial condition of the state improving:
Yediyurappa who agreed that the financial situation was affected due to COVID, claimed that it has improved in recent days.
“We will provide money for the developmental works in the state,” he said.
For Kudla:
Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa declared to provide ₹120 crores under Mahatma Gandhi Nagar Vikas Yojana.
“Works to the tune of ₹120 crores can be done here. I have already issued an order to release ₹50 crores for the 10 City Corporations in the city,” he said.
Yediyurappa assured to provide all necessary help to boost tourism and tidal power.
