Man takes vehicle on test drive, never comes back
Manipal, Nov 02: A person who took a bike for a test drive from a second-hand stop never turned up.
A person came to New Manipal Bazar, a second-hand vehicle shop at Laxmindra Nagar Manipal on October 31 at 2.50 pm. He introduced himself as Ganesh Udyavar and selected a TVS Victor bike and took it for a test drive.
When the person never returned, the owner of the shop realized that he was cheated. A case under IPC Section 406 (Criminal breach of trust) and 420 (Cheating) has been registered.
