Attack on photographer: Police arrest three
Mangaluru, Oct 28: Three people have been arrested in connection to the attack on a photographer on Oct 28 night.
Dinesh is the owner of Trisha Studio at Pudu village of Farangipet. At 7.15 pm on Oct 28, four people entered the studio in the guise of getting a photo. One among them attacked Dinesh with a sickle and hit on his head, right hand, and stomach.
Meanwhile, one Shekhar Poojary who was at the studio took the nearby chair and hit the attackers. They fled from the spot.
Dinesh was immediately rushed to AJ Hospital in Mangaluru where he is under treatment.
The police led by Sub Inspector Prasanna and his team immediately arrested the accused Arshad (19), Abdul Rehman (22), and Mohammed Saifuddin (22). Police are searching for another accused Savad.
In a sexual assault case on a child, Dinesh had supported the victim. It is said that the accused were angry with him on this issue.
