DK Legislators meet Yediyurappa

Mangaluru, Oct 15: Legislators of Dakshina Kannada district led by District Incharge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on October 15 morning.

They spoke to the Chief Minister about the various problem related to the region.
The team that met CM included Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLC Pratap Simha Nayak, MLAs S Angara, D Vedavyas Kamath, Dr. Bharath Shetty, Umanath Kotian, Sanjeev Matandoor, and Rajesh Naik.

They told Cheif Minister about the rain damage in the district and asked him to release the compensation to the affected families.

They also sought a separate sand policy for the three Coastal districts and also amend sand mining rules.
