COVID-19: Udupi crosses 20k mark

Udupi, Oct 14: Udupi district recorded 197 cases and two deaths on October 14. The district bulletin stated that of the total cases 116 are from Udupi, 41 from Kundapura and 38 from Karkala. Two patients were from other district.

Death:

1. Male (82) from Udupi Taluk (Cause of death: Severe COVID-19 with Acute Respiratory distress syndrome, Diabetic, Hypertension, Gangrene, Ischemic heart disease and Chronic lymphocytic leukemia.)
2. Male (46) from Udupi Taluk (Cause of death: Severe COVID-19 with Acute Respiratory distress syndrome, Acute Kidney injury, Chronic Kidney Disease, Retroviral Disease, diabetes mellitus Type-2 and Hypertension.)
