7th std boy hangs himself

Udupi, Oct 01: A 7th standard boy committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Shiriyara village on Wednesday.

Police said that the 12 years old boy was a 7th standard student and was weak in studies.

He was attending online classes, and before going out for work on Wednesday morning, boy’s mother asked him to study well. His aunt had been to have a bath.

After sometime the boy was found hanging.

Police believe that the boy must have taken this extreme step for either not being good in studies or some other reason.

The incident is suspected to have taken place between 10 am and 1 pm. A case is registered at Kota police station.
