Belthangady records 48 COVID cases, 2 deaths
Mangaluru, Sep 10: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 350 cases and nine deaths on Thursday.
The district crossed the 16,000 mark on Thursday.
Notably, the number increased in Belthangady which recorded 48 cases and two deaths.
Mangaluru Taluk recorded the highest number of cases (154) followed by Bantwal (56). Puttur had 26 cases and Sullia 13. Fifty-three patients were from other districts.
Like in the Udupi district, in Dakshina Kannada too the number of symptomatic (182) is more than asymptomatic (168).
Deaths: Five from Mangaluru Taluk, 2 from Belthangady, and one from Bantwal and other districts.
