Udupi records further dip in COVID cases on Monday
Udupi, Aug 24: Udupi district saw a further fall in the COVID numbers on Monday. The district recorded 103 cases.
The total number of cases in the district has reached 10,236 of which 2,590 are active and 7,557 cured.
On Monday 156 were discharged (57 from Hospital and 99 from Home Isolation). The district also recorded five deaths increasing the total number of deaths to 89.
Deaths:
Karkala: An 85-year woman, an 85-year woman, and a 49-year woman.
Udupi: A 75-year male and a 55-year male
