Chennai, Aug 19: Health of famous playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam continues to remain critical.
“Health of singer SP Balasubrahmanyam continues to remain critical and is on the ventilator and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support in ICU,” ANI quoted MGM Healthcare, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
SPB was admitted to the hospital on August 5 for symptoms of COVID.
In a late-night development on August 13, his condition deteriorated, and based on the advice of the expert medical team attending to him, he has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He was put on life support.
