Kundapur Taluk records highest number of COVID cases in Udupi district on Monday
Udupi, Aug 17: With 270 positives on Monday, Udupi district has crossed the 8,000 mark.
On Monday Kundapur recorded the highest number of patients in the district. Karkala recorded 141 cases in the district and Udupi taluk recorded 107.
The total COVID cases in the district have reached 8,245.
Udupi has 2,537 active cases and 5,630 discharges.
With the district recording one death (56 year female from Karkala), the total deaths in the district have increased to 78.
