COVID-19: 500- plus discharges in DK today
Mangaluru, Aug 10: Dakshina Kannada today recorded 146 cases and 8 deaths on Monday.
The district also recorded the highest number of single-day discharges today. As many as 533 were discharged today.
The total number of cases in the district is 7,353 of which 2,910 are active and 4,215 discharged. The total number of deaths has increased to 228.
Of the 146 cases, Mangaluru taluk recorded 94, Belthangady 16, Bantwal 11, Puttur 7, and Sullia 1. Seventeen patients are from other districts.
Of the eight deaths, 4 are from Mangaluru, 1 from Belthangady, and 3 from other districts.
