VHP asks people to light lamps on Ayodhya Bhoomi Poojan day
Mangaluru, July 30: Inviting people to be part of the foundation stone laying ceremony of Sri Rama Mandir at Ayodhya, Vishwa Hindu Parishad has asked people to celebrate the event by lighting lamps and decorating the houses.
“It is a historical moment. The foundation stone will be laid at 11.30 am on August 5. People should celebrate it by lighting the lamps, decorating the houses, and hoisting the Bhagva flag,” VHP Karnataka Dakshina Pranth Karyadhyaksh M B Puranik told during a press conference at Mangaluru on Thursday.
VHP Pranth Karyadarshi Krishnamurthy said that the Temples, Bhajana Mandirs, and Mathas of the coastal region have been requested to celebrate the event.
He asked to celebrate the event by organizing Bhajans, Japa, and Pooja and offerings to Lord Sri Rama.
Live streaming of the foundation stone laying ceremony would be telecasted at all the district and taluk centers of VHP. The Kar Sevaks who had participated in the Rama Janmabhoomi movement between 1990-92 would be present.
VHP Vibhag Karyadarshi Sharan Pumpwell said that the live streaming would be held at Mangaluru, Udupi, Puttur, and Kasargod.
VHP district president Gopal Kuttar, District Secretary Shivananda Mendon, Bajrang Dal Vibhag Sanchalak Bhujanga Kulal were present at the press conference.
