Violations to attract action: DC to hospitals
Udupi, July 29: Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh has warned strict action against those private health institutions that do not report ILI, SARI and COVID suspected cases to the government.
As per the guidelines, all the private health institutions have to report the ILI and SARI cases to the government on https://kpme.karnataka.tech daily.
Despite providing the username and passwords to the institutions and warning notices, the district administration has noted that many do not report these cases.

“The registration of such institutions would be canceled under the KPME Act,” Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh who is also the district president of the KPME committee stated.
He has also warned action against private hospitals registered under Ayushman Bharath which do not reserve 50 percent of the beds to COVID patients.
