COVID-19: 173 new cases in Udupi, 69 in Uttara Kannada
According to the district bulletin, the total number of cases in Udupi is 3,895 of which 2,323 are discharged and 1,547 active. The total number of deaths in the district has increased to 25. It was 22 yesterday.
Uttara Kannada district: Uttara Kannada on Wednesday recorded 69 new cases increasing the total cases in the district to 1,907. The district recorded three deaths- one in Ankola and two in Honnavar. The district has recorded 21 deaths.
The total number of cured in Uttara Kannada is 1,217 and the total active cases are 600. As many as 107 patients were discharged on Wednesday.
Of the 69 cases on Wednesday, Haliyal recorded the highest with 36 cases and Siddapur recorded zero.
