COVID-19: Dakshina Kannada crosses 5,000 mark
Mangaluru, July 28: Dakshina Kannada crossed 5,000 mark on Tuesday. The district recorded 173 cases and four deaths on Tuesday increasing the total positive to 5,103.
According to the bulletin the total number of active cases are 2,632 and the number of discharged are 2,338.

Deaths:
1. 84 year old person from Bantwal died on July 26.
2. 62 year old person from Bantwal died on July 26.
3. 25 year old woman from Bantwal died on July 28.
4. 72 year old person from Bhatkal died on July 27.
All the four had various health ailments and also tested COVID positive.
