COVID-19: Recoveries overtake active cases in Uttara Kannada

Karwar, July 23: In what may be defined as a relief, the number of recoveries has increased drastically in the district and has overtaken the active case. 

The total number of active cases in the district is 700 whereas the total number of recoveries is 705.

On the second consecutive day too the number of discharges was more than the number of new cases. The district witnessed 83 new cases whereas the number of discharged was 89 on Thursday. 

Of the 83 cases, Haliyal Taluk alone recorded 50 cases! Honnavar and Joida did not record any cases today.
