Hebbar asks officials to keep tab on corona medicine claims

Karwar, July 20: District Incharge Minister A Shivaram Hebbar has asked the health department officials to keep a tab on the claims of providing medicines to COVID-19.
“Officially no medicine has been invented for COVID. A medicine becomes official only after it gets a nod from the Indian Council of Medical Research. Various companies are making claims of providing medicine for COVID. The health and family department officials should keep a tab on this,” Hebbar said during the KDP meeting in Karwar on Monday.
Hebbar instructed the health department officials to ensure that the COVID patients in various hospitals do not face any problem.
“Every patient should be able to get good treatment. Priority should be given to women, children, and aged during the COVID test. Cleanliness in hospital should be ensured” he said.
MLAs Roopali Naik, Dinakar Shetty, Sunil Naik, ZP president Jayashri, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar K, ZP CEO M Roshan, Superintendent of Police Shiva Prakash Devaraju were present at the meeting.
