COVID-19: Uttara Kannada records 78 cases

Karwar, July 20: With 39 cases on Monday, Haliyal continues to record the highest number of patients in the Uttara Kannada district.The total number of cases in the district on Monday was 78. 

In the last 24 hours, Sirsi, Siddapur, Yellapur, Honnavar, and Joida did not report a single case.

Of the total 1,163 cases, the Uttara Kannada district has 668 active cases and 485 are discharged. On Monday 40 people were discharged. 

Though the number is increasing in the district, it is much less compared to the other coastal districts- Udupi and Dakshina Kannada.
