It’s yellow alert in Coastal Karnataka

Mangaluru, July 17: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alert, warning heavy rainfall in Coastal Karnataka.
The IMD has stated that most of the places in the coastal districts of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and Uttara Kannada will experience heavy rainfall exceeding 75 mm till July 19 morning For two days from July 19 the rain is likely to increase further. The IMD has issued an orange alert on July 19 and 20.
The satellite image shows the movement of thick clouds in Coastal Karnataka. Already many places in the coastal districts have started experiencing continuous heavy rain since Friday morning.
