COVID-19: 29 cases in Dakshina Kannada
Mangaluru: In a sudden increase, Dakshina Kannada recorded 29 COVID cases on Thursday.
Dakshina Kannada: Of the 29 positive, three each are contacts of P-9589 and P-9588, 19 are from abroad including Saudi Arabia, Muscat, Qatar and Sharjah. One had returned from Mumbai.
One patient each with Severe Acute Respiratory Infection and influenza-like illness tested positive today. The contact of one patient is under tracing.
Uttara Kannada: Of the 11 positives, five had come from Maharashtra, two from Delhi, one each from Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Kuwait. One patient is the contact of P-7274.
Udupi: 10 are Maharashtra returnees and one had come from Bengaluru. Source of others are under tracing.
