COVID-19: 25 new cases along Canara coast

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kanada district on Friday recorded 13 new COVID cases.

The state total was 331.

Of the 13 cases, 4 had returned from Saudi Arabia and 7 from Sharjah. Two persons who had Influenza-Like Illness (ILI)too have been detected with COVID.

Of the 11 in Udupi 4 had returned from Maharashtra and 2 from Tamil Nadu. Three patients- P-8021, P-8022, and P-8031 are contacts of P-7024 and two patients P-8025 and P-8026 are contacts of P-7291.

The COVID positive in Uttara Kannada district had returned from Maharashtra.
