With the monsoon advancing, the coastal Karnataka region is likely to witness widespread rain in isolated places. 

The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) now passes through Karwar, Hassan, Salem, Puducherry.
Conditions are becoming favorable for further advancement of South west monsoon into soe more parts of Karnataka, entire Tamil Nadu, some parts of Rayalseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh, entire southwest Bay of Bengal, some more parts of central and north east Bay of Bengal and some parts of north east India during next 2-3 days.

Dakshina Kannada:
June 07 (10 am) to June 08 (8.30 am): Moderate to Heavy rainfall very likely at most places. Warning: Isolated heavy rains. (Yellow alert)
June 08 (10 am) to June 09 (8.30 am): Light to Moderate rainfall very likely at most places. Warning: Nil. 
Udupi:
June 07 (10 am) to June 08 (8.30 am): Moderate to Heavy rainfall very likely at most places. Warning: Isolated heavy rains. (Yellow alert)
June 08 (10 am) to June 09 (8.30 am): Light to Moderate rainfall very likely at most places. Warning: Nil. 
Uttara Kannada:
June 07 (10 am) to June 08 (8.30 am): Moderate to Heavy rainfall very likely at most places. Warning: Isolated heavy rains. (Yellow alert)
June 08 (10 am) to June 09 (8.30 am): Light to Moderate rainfall very likely at most places. Warning: Nil.
